Operations
With field based Area Directors located in their headquarter hotels, the structure of hotel operations lends itself toward frequent and fluid communication between the home office operating group and hotels in the portfolio. With a high focus on driving revenues through aggressive pricing management and direct, backyard sales, Area Directors and hotel General Managers are supported by corporate directors of sales and revenue management that routinely interact with the hotels to help make the best possible revenue enhancing decisions. Operations has a strong focus on purchasing controls and daily labor management to maintain expense margins and improve the profitability of each asset.
General Managers are encouraged to be entrepreneurial, highly involved and interactive with both customers and staff, innovative in their approach to solving business problems, and participate in a management incentive plan that rewards results in a balanced way: revenues, profitability, customer service, beating the competition and other important business indicators.
Sales and Revenue Management
The objective of Archon Hospitality’s Sales and Revenue Management team is to maximize market share. Our revenue management experts are trained to anticipate change in the marketplace and act quickly to develop and execute strategies resulting in improved performance within each market. A direct sales approach insures our team focuses on building long term relationships with our guests and clients, which allows us to better predict and accommodate their needs, and, as a result, capture and retain the best business for our assets.
Training
Training programs include developmental training of hotel managers to enhance their leadership and job skills, with strong participation in brand service training programs for line level employees to ensure the highest levels of customer service and guest satisfaction.
Sales training for hotel General Managers as well as sales staff provides both the training and tools necessary to insure success across all market segments.
Accounting
Centralized accounting uses Archon’s broad real estate infrastructure to produce timely, accurate financial statements. Centralized cash management and disbursements maximize investor cash returns and maintain superior control of cash.
Our accountants are a training resource for hotels and provide tools for labor management, other expense control, revenue reporting, budgeting / forecasting and capital expenses. Additionally, annual internal audits identify potential internal control weaknesses and provide operational resolutions.
Human Resources
Archon Hospitality’s Human Resources department focuses on ensuring that our properties have assistance with all recruiting and training needs. We ensure that our wages & benefits are competitive in our markets so that we can hire and retain the best talent. We combine our efforts to continually train our staffs in order to develop them into leaders in their respective areas. In addition, the human resources department is a ‘resource’ for all human resources-related issues & concerns. We ensure that our hotel staffs are knowledgeable & compliant in all relevant areas of the law.

Archon Hospitality’s Development and Construction Services offers hospitality support and industry expertise in the following areas: Capital management, Project management, Property improvement planning, Material purchasing, Franchise requirements, Hotel engineering, and Maintenance management support. With an equally strong focus to ensure routine preventative maintenance and property repairs preserve the condition of each hotel, driving quality and customer perception.
